HP iQuote now supports additional margin calculation

Companies that operate Cost Plus margin are now supported. HP iQuote’s International reach means that it encounters different accounting practices. A recent experience has been that there are countries where Retained Margin is not common (the HP iQuote default margin calculation). Instead, Cost Plus is the standard calculation in this region.

To ensure that HP iQuote fits a country rather than a country fitting HP iQuote, there is a new “Host Variable” which means a Distributor or Reseller that hosts HP iQuote can choose whether the margin calculation is Retained Margin or Cost Plus.

Example: Cost Plus is €100 * 1.05 and Retained Margin is €100 / 0.95.

HP iQuote April 2013 Statistics

Another record breaking month for HP iQuote in AMS/EMEA. Thanks to all of our HP iQuote users. Some interesting figures:

  • Around 3,600 unique Users from over 2,000 unique Companies created just short of 30,000 New Quotes.
  • HP iQuote sent over $6M in orders to Distributors and Resellers. Another $58M in potential orders were exported from HP iQuote.
  • 55% of New Quotes were generated in EMEA as Canada and Latin America came online and evened up the split between AMS and EMEA.

We had a number of National/Bank Holidays in April so this was a really strong result from HP’s Channel. We have 1600 Users that use HP iQuote weekly (up from 300 in Feb 2011):

Another record month thank you. Despite only 20 trading days (max) you broke all previous records:

  1. 1775 Unique Companies used HP iQuote.
  2. Over 3000 Users.
  3. Nearly 27k New iQuotes raised.
  4. Over 10,000 Exported iQuotes.

Regional Splits/Trends
40% of iQuotes are AMS Region – Canada and Latin America ramping up to add to USA numbers. EMEA ahead due to a number of new Distributors deploying HP iQuote internally and to Resellers.

Record breaking HP iQuote Weekly Stats. Approaching 1200 unique users per week fast – double the number in Jan 2012. HP iQuote also broke through the 6000 New Quotes in a week barrier as well (over 50% up on Jan 2012). Saved and Exported quotes are also at an all time high.
